Jaime Oliver is our candidate for Nettleham by-election
The Lib Dems are pleased to announce that Jaime Oliver, from the village of Nettleham is to be their candidate in the forthcoming by-election on Thursday December 16th.
The election is taking place as a result of the resignation of the former Conservative Leader of the council, charged and now imprisoned on fraud and theft charges.
Parliamentary spokesperson for the Lib Dems, Lesley Rollings, said: "Jaime is a very strong candidate - she has worked with the community for many years now. In particular, she stepped forward when Lincolnshire County Council decided to remove funding for many village libraries, back in 2016. Jaime is someone who is passionate about working in and for the community. Her work has had a big impact in Nettleham."
Jaime lives in the village of Nettleham. She has two children, who have grown up in the village, attending local schools.
In the past, Jaime has been a childminder, which has given her first hand experience of the needs of people in the local area. She has played a large part in village life.
We would be delighted if you live locally and would be willing to support Jaime:
