As a family we moved to Market Rasen in 1994. Until retirement in December 2019 I worked at De Aston School as a member of the Senior Management Team in charge of the Boarding House and also in the Learning Support Department.

As I am interested in local affairs I have stood for and been elected to Market Rasen Town Council and also West Lindsey District Council. I believe that as well as listening and discussing the concerns of the community that it is important to actively complete projects and improve the life of the community. As well as completing large projects like the skate park, and Christmas Lights I am regularly involved in litter picking, tree planting, reporting potholes, planning issues etc.

I passionately believe that councils and providers should work together to provide a FAIRER, STRONGER & GREENER society both for current and future generations.

As we come out of the Covid 19 era I believe that it is important that the various councils and providers work together to provide services that benefit everyone in the community and in particular those who are less fortunate than others. It is also important that we do everything we can to look after our environment so that future generations can enjoy life on our planet.
